Find the Gown for your Body Type

The search for the perfect wedding dress begins - with a long, honest look at the mirror. What is your body shape? Even though you swear you’ll lose ten pounds before the wedding, you can’t drastically modify what Mother Nature has given you. And why should you? There are so many styles and materials available, there’s bound to be something that will make you look absolutely gorgeous, just the way you are.

Full figured women. Your best choice is the A-Line Evening Dresses, which lengthens the body without calling undue attention to the waistline. Look for a gown that concentrates its detail either at your neckline (a V-Neck Evening Dresses is most flattering, as a round neckline will only emphasize a round face) or at the hem. Another smart choice is the empire waist, that narrows at the bust and hides the waist and hips. Avoid heavily embroidered bodices or full veils; they’ll only add extra bulk.

Bottom Heavy. Go for a full skirt, and look for dresses that draw attention upwards—beautiful embroidery on the sleeves and neckline, a flattering bustier or corset bodice. Another trick is to show your arms, back and buntline (if you’re uncomfortable about showing too much skin, ask for a translucent, gauzy material). Avoid pleats or any fabric that’s gathered at the waist.

The secret is proportion. Wear off-the-shoulder sleeves (strapless or bustier cuts will only emphasize the chest area) and stick to a narrow, tailored skirt. Avoid detailed necklines; concentrate any embroidery at the hem or waist. It may take a while to find the perfect dress, but with the right planning and preparation you’re sure to find one that fits your body and your budget.

What’s more, the color of your wedding dresses also plays a very important role. The best choice for the full figure bride is dark color. The Black Evening Dresses and Red Evening Dresses can be both taken into consideration. A Plus Size Evening Dresses can also make you look more beautiful!

Evening Dresses: Hollywood Style

The rise of the Hollywood fashion icons have seen an onslaught of gorgeous, must-have Evening Dresses like no other. Evening dresses of various designs, styles, shades could drive evening dress aficionados crazy.

Armed with their magazine cutouts and pen, these aficionados rush to their favorite couturier and ask for a copy of these Hollywood starlet’s evening dresses, at a much lesser cost.

There are others, however, who prefer to design their own  Dresses. With a vision and a sketch book, these mavens draw all original evening dresses, with just a touch or an obvious inspiration of Hollywood. So here are some tips on how to design you own Red Evening Dresses, Hollywood style.

1. Watch Hollywood Entertainment News

Watching Hollywood lifestyle channels or entertainment news exposes you to a variety of Hollywood White Evening Dresses. You can check out some lifestyle channel’s best and worst dressed. These are legit – they are sorted out by legitimate fashion critics, after all. These best dressed and worst dressed lists will give you a very useful cue on what dress designs to go for and what to stay away from.

2. Leaf through Fashion Magazines

Fashion magazines feature the latest evening dresses worn by these Hollywood stars. Fashion magazines are actually way better than watching television. Instead of encrypting the dress designs in your head, fashion magazines give you the luxury of merely showing it to your dress designer or dress maker and highlighting areas which you want altered.

Penelope3. One and One Makes One

Take Black Evening Dresses design worn by one Hollywood actress, and another worn by another Hollywood icon and mold them together to form a uniquely gorgeous evening dress. Other than being a “half-original”, you will have the privilege of choosing which designs to pick out and which to leave out.

4. Elegance Minus the Frills

A lot of the most gorgeous evening dresses actually have one or more of the following: frills, laces, feathers, sequins, crystals, diamonds, trains, corsets and double sided tapes. These are indeed lovely addition to their evening dresses. However, it does not necessarily mean it could work well for a mere mortal such as you. Have Purple  Evening Dresses made in a way that does not alter its elegance, yet takes away the frills, laces, feathers, sequins, crystals, diamonds, trains or the corsets – as well as the need for double sided tapes. Note: trains and frills are for wedding dresses. Laces and corsets are more fitting for Blue Bridesmaid Dresses.

5. The color and the cut

The color may look perfect for the Hollywood star that you copied the evening dress design from, but that does not necessarily mean it will look great on your skin tone. The cut may suit her to a tee, but that does not mean it will have the same effect on you. Get inspiration from that Hollywood dresses, but alter it to make it truly yours. Choose the right shade for your skin tone and choose the right cut for your body type.

The Valentine’s Day Wedding

Marrying on Valentine’s Day? You’ve probably been called a romantic. Perhaps you even got your sparkler (and a great engagement story) on that very same day.
And yet, your engagement’s probably not what drove you to tie the knot then. How about this: that giddy feeling you first got in second grade … when the cute blond boy dropped a dimestore card in the shoebox you made with doilies and ribbons.
In other words? Valentine’s Day is a delicious combination of grown-up passion and schoolgirl crush. and some girls decide to hold their 16 years birthday on Valentine’s Day. They dressed in beautiful Sweet 16 Dresses and enjoying their birthday.
Back or Forth? Sussing Out the Season
Your first task: figuring out whether to lean back toward a wintry look and feel, or forward into spring. Part of this may depend on how chilly it typically gets in February chez vous (though some places actually allow an outdoor wedding by then). But weather aside, a lot depends on your vision.
Winsome Winter
A winter-leaning wedding shares the regal feel of Christmas: heavier fabrics, fuller skirts, classical red roses. For colors, you might have more dignified reds and whites, with gold embroidery and ivory overlays. (Believe it or not, even a black and white wedding with red roses is pitch-perfect for Valentine’s Day).
And your food will probably reflect winter’s formality, too: a white chocolate wedding cake with red raspberry filling, say, or a red velvet cake surrounded with rich cream cheese frosting. Plus, the date sends up a green light for brides who dream of marrying in a daring red gown, for example, a Red Prom Dresses.
In Spring, a Couple’s Thoughts Turn to Love …
A spring-ish wedding, on the other hand, is filled with flirtier flowers: pink roses and peonies, pale pink rununculous and lisianthus, cream tulips and hydrangeas. it’s one of the best seasons for you to wear anything to hold your wedding party, even though a Black Evening Dresses.
Picture this: your guests mark your departure with a shower of rose petals from petal cones. Your dress? Understated, with asymmetrical draping and a sweetheart neckline. Your bridesmaids gear: Tea Length Bridesmaid Dresses with ruffled hems or long, silky sashes.
You might even dispense with the cake altogether, treating the crowd to whimsical cupcake trays and bite-sized appetizers … and invite them to wash it all down with pink champagne and a raspberry garnish. A berry sorbet with fresh mint cleans the palette between courses.
Timeless Tables
When held in a ballroom, the Valentine wedding benefits from lots of romantic draping. In addition to the masses of red roses (or springtime pinks) it calls for, you can toss together a few more whimsical centerpieces to add variety or mark a spot like the cake table.
Rose Petal Runner
A popular approach to focal points, this table treatment simply involves piling masses of rose petals down the center of the table, just like a fabric runner, then zigzagging white votives down the line.
Candy Heart Containers
For pillar candle centerpieces, fill a 1/3 of a hurricane lamp with white conversation hearts. Plunk in a pillar candle, then fill the remaining space with hearts. Or for a floral centerpiece, find two glass bowls, one slightly larger than the other. Fill the space between bowls with conversation hearts, then fill the smallest bowl with water and float a peony head.
Gift Box with Paveed Roses
Locate round or square balsam boxes from any craft store, and paint to suit. Fill with Oasis (moistened) floral foam cut to fit, and cover the foam with spray or sweetheart roses until no foam is visible. Tie off the gift box with a satin ribbon. They some times put a beautiful Wedding Dresses such as Dropped Waist Prom Dresses for the brides.
Rose Hearts on Cake Trays
Buy Oasis foam in a heart shape, or cut flat foam to shape. Moisten, and cover with spray or sweetheart roses until no foam is visible. Place on an attractive cake stand. Doll up this centerpiece even more with sheer organza draping, satin ribbon, crystal pins or votives.
What other Valentine wedding centerpiece ideas caught your eye? Share them below!
Seduce With the Small Stuff
Here’s a few more details to make any February 14th wedding sizzle: -Chocolate-dipped strawberries. This oh-so-sexy fruit seems made for this holiday … and even more so when you dip it in the greatest aphrodisiac on earth (at least for women!)
- Pink martinis. The crowd will thrill to cosmos, no matter their age or gender.
- Valentine candy buffet. No other holiday wedding calls louder for the sweet nostalgia of the candy buffet. Your choices are numerous, from oversized wedding conversation hearts to sweet foil-wrapped chocolates in pinks and reds.
-Choosse the right Wedding Dresses for the Valentine’s Day. and my suggestion is Red Evening Dresses.
- Candy heart card box. Make an adorable card box that brings back the old days of tempting gifts from parents or sweethearts. Grab a large heart-shaped paper mache box from a craft store, paint it red, and trim the lid with multiple layers of lace and braid, just like the candy boxes you once saw in the five-and-dimes. Cut out a slot, and stamp or paste on your monogram. Adorable!

Finding the Wedding Dresses of your Dreams

Inspired by my own search for my wedding dress, I decided to write this article because it turns out you can get lucky if you research and are patient. I started looking for my dress a few months before I got married and I found the dress I loved, but it was $800. My dress was really simple and this was not in my budget, so I got the company name and the style number and searched everywhere online and off for this dress. Finally I found it offline for $499 at a local bridal shop. But them I was looking for Modest Prom Dresses in a popular department store catalog and imagine my surprise when I saw my dress for $299. I couldn’t believe it. I know I lucked out, but maybe with these tips you can too!

1. Be patient. You can definitely wait to buy your dress. With all these different companies selling that on dress, you can search to find the best dress. Unless you’re buying a Vera Wang original, do a little hunting and finally you will find the right one you are looking for, such as a Elegant Evening Dresses.

2. Write down the designer and style number or dress name. This is important for your research. for example, you are looking for a Red Evening Dresses, but you can’t find it anywhere, then you can ask the manager and show him or her the style number and dress name.

3. Research. Look everywhere online and off for your dress. I found my Brown Formal Dresses online for a couple of lower prices before I found the $299 dress. A lot of online companies offer dresses at rock bottom price. You can find accessories very cheap online also. Search for “Cheap Bridesmaid Dresses or Cheap Prom Dresses“.

4. Look at the Wedding Dresses from popular department stores. These stores can sell the same dress at lower prices because they have the buying power. A popular department stores also have different kind of dresses, you will find Cheap Mother of Bride Dresses even a Graduation Dresses

5. Have a style in mind, but don’t get stuck on one particular dress if you can. Learn the style that looks best on you. I say that looks best on you because originally I wanted one of those poofy Cinderella dresses but I tried one on and it made my hips look huge (and believe me I don’t need any help!). So, I tried on different dresses and chose the style that looked best on me.

Good luck on your search and have fun planning your wedding!

Wedding Dresses for the Well Endowed

We have to admit it, our society is one which puts more weight on the sleek and slim – no pun intended. Minimalism is at its best these days. However, it seems that more and more people are becoming aware of the reality that not everyone can be like the super models we see on TV and magazines. Believe me, there are probably more women out there who take a look at wedding magazines and wish that the models were more like them – like real women. The fact still remains, however, that it may be quite a task to find a wedding dress for the well endowed woman. Though it may be a little bit difficult, it is not an impossible task. Here are some ideas on how and where you can find the perfect Plus Size Evening Dresses

First of all, know your size. This is common sense, really. Yet more than the size, you should know your body shape. Not all women with the same size have the same shape. Different shapes need different dress styles to make women look their best. For example, women who tend to be curvy would benefit from an A-Line Evening Dresses. This is due to the fact that this cut would skim over the hips, giving an overall slimming effect. Women who tend to be top heavy would benefit from v-cut tops or the V-Neck Evening Dresses. In general, avoid cuts that tend to make you look squatter.

You can also choose some dark color dresses, such as the Black Evening Dresses, Red Evening Dresses, which can let you look slimmer and more beautiful.

Once you have determined the best cut or design for your wedding dress, it is time to find out where to get your dress. In general, you have two options for this. First, you can go to retail or department stores, where they will most likely have a large collection of wedding dresses for you to choose from. More than having a large collection, at these stores, you can actually pick out several dresses that catch your eye and try them on. This is as opposed to buying online and hoping and crossing your fingers that the dress will fit you. Remember, even if the dress is labeled the size you want, it does not always mean that the fit will be as you imagine it. Your second option is to go to a tailor. This is in fact the better option that I would recommend. It may cost you a little bit more but the advantage of having a dress made to fit you beats anything else. I am sure that you can find a suitable dressmaker in your town – or the surrounding towns – who would be able to come up with the perfect dress for you at a reasonable price.

Another thing to bear in mind, do not compromise your comfort for style or price. Remember that you are going to wear that dress on what can be the most important day of your life. You wouldn’t want to be squeamish about wearing that dress, would you? So if you have the slightest doubts about a dress you are considering, you probably should think it over. It is your time to shine, so make you sure that you will!

How to Choose a Red Dress

Red is a traditional, elegant color. Red dresses can be worn to everyday events, for a fun touch at work, a romantic feel at a picnic, a funky party dress, to special occasions, and more. However, when choosing which red dress to wear, problems may occur. One might not look good on you. Or you might not feel comfortable in your dress. This article will tell you how to choose the right red formal dresses.

Steps

1. Identify the event that you need the dress for.
o Formal events will require a nicer dress.
o For some events it may not be appropriate to wear a red dress. For example, you may not want to wear a red dress to a funeral in the United States.
o Choose a red that will benefit your skin tone. Blue reds for pale skin, bright and orange reds for darker or tan skin.
o Going to a garden party may not be the best place to wear red as it may not match with the theme of the party and the material at such parties tends to be cotton, which may not show off the color red as well.
2. Budget for the dress before you even go to stores or start looking online. If you don’t do this, you may be disappointed. You need to be realistic in where you can shop and what your options are.
3. Determine your body type. What do you think your body type is? Are you thin, muscular, or athletic? Knowing this information will help you pick the right red dress. Ask a friend, parent, or adult what they think your body type is,then decide

o For smaller women: Lighter colours will draw more attention to your figure. Stick with bright reds to flatter your figure.
 Patterns: Patterns draw attention to an area of the body. You can select a pattern that draws attention to your small waist, or select a pattern that draws attention to the bottom of the dress and your legs such as pageant dresses or short evening dresses
o For larger women: Stick with darker reds or maroons. Darker colours draw less attention to the body, also like black evening dresses .
 Patterns: Avoid bold patterns in the mid section, instead draw attention away from the belly by looking for patterns near the bust line. Try to stick with a pattern that is in a different shade of red and not overly bold.
4. Browse. Look at fashion magazines and websites to get a general idea for styles that you like. Check the names of the labels that women are wearing in those pictures.
5. Identify stores that have dresses in your budget range that you can go to. Some stores are more likely to carry dresses. This includes places like Kohls, JCPenny, Macys, Target, bridal boutiques. The types of dresses these stores carry may change by season. They might have sales on dresses that you may want to be aware of when planning your budget.
o Season: Red is always in style, unlike some colours there is no “best time of the year” to buy red. Most retailers from designer labels to department stores will always have red options.
6. Make a list of possibilities. Mark all dresses down that you like. Write down why you like them.
7. Try all of the dresses on. Go to the shops where the dresses you like are located (Or order them off the Internet). Try them on for size and fitting. Make sure they are not too tight or too loose.
o For smaller women: Select a dress that fits closer to the body and flatters your curves.
o For larger women: Look for dresses that are fitted in the chest and flare out at the waist. This style will make your waist appear smaller.
8. Select your first choice. Go back to the store and try it on again. If it fits perfectly, then that is your dress. Put it on and wear it with pride. If not, go down to your second choice and see if that is the dress for you.

Red Evening Dresses, Red Prom Dresses, Red Formal Dresses ,red cocktail dresses are your good choice.

What are appropriate evening wear colors?

All colors are appropriate for evening wear.

Oh, I think you can do any color! Black evening dresses always look wonderful in the evening, but so do red Evening Dresses and green Evening Dresses. I can think of several colors as being appropriate. Also, it depends on your physical body shape and your complexion.

The golden beauty look - The color gold Evening Dresses are in fashion this season and will be the rage in many of the party scenes. Christmas and New Year is fast approaching and you could be the diva of the evening if you choose the golden color for your evening dress and carry it off well. A golden colored top goes well with a pair of black tights. Avoid teaming it with jeans for the jeans will steal away the glam and glitter of the golden colored top. You could wear a black mini skirt also and couple it with stockings for a more youthful and a trendy look. Wedge shaped shoes or strappy heels that wrap around your ankles will be a good match for the golden brocade look.

Metallic shades - Besides gold, you could try the silver Evening Dresses or the copper shades for the ethereal romantic evening. Metallic shades are in vogue now and coupled with the right accessories, they can lend a very unique style to your persona. Gowns in metallic silver with lace work are some varieties of dresses in this category that look great on a toned body. Tops in shades of copper go well with trousers if the evening is going to be a formal one. You could use a shimmering mascara to give a soft look to the eyes. Tunics are also available in the silver range or in grey for a light evening. Avoid bright shades of lipstick. They kill the ensemble. Gold ballet shoes with silver or any metallic shade will complete the look for a perfect evening.

Black and white evening dresses - This is the most tested and tried combination that has made many a heads turn if worn in the right way. Instead of using these two colors as a combination, try using the colors independently. Black evening dresses are very versatile and it is a flattering color that will suit any body type. If you are little on the chubbier side, black is magical in making you look trimmer. If you are on the thinner side, black flatters your figure. Black gowns, tunics, off shoulder mini dresses and footless tights are great for evening dresses.

White too is fabulous in the form of long flowing skirts. Any shade of white whether it is cream or off white is good for accentuating a curvy figure. Team it up with the right jewellery and you have a show stopper for a party ready.

Blue Evening Dresses ,Pink Evening Dresses ,Purple Evening Dresses ,Orange Evening Dresses,I think they are also good choice colors dresses.
